Kristin was the missing piece to the R. Knapp Financial puzzle. Since joining the team in early 2018, Kristin has brought a wealth of knowledge along with a client-focused approach and cheerful, willing attitude to help keep the business running smoothly.
With years of experience in Human Resources, Kristin is not only well-versed in working with a variety of people, but also understands the challenges that employers face when dealing with the administration of a retirement plan, including regulatory requirements and employee education.
Kristin is an Illinois native who holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bradley University, as well as a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning. When she’s not in the office, Kristin and her husband Justin stay busy with their two young daughters, one of whom is a soccer-playing comedian, keeping the family laughing at every turn, while the other is a singer and performer who is involved in Arc Light (local non-profit theater) productions. Both girls play piano as well, and the entire family spends as much time on the water as they can, boating and swimming.
